This is what I've been up to!

I found another challenge to do . It's at the Cuttlebug Spot. The idea is to do some type of party favor for any occasion but it must use the Cuttlebug ( an embossing and die cut machine by ProvoCraft) I thought, well Cecilia will be christened in the spring so of course we need favors, right? Decided to use a peachy color card stock for the box base, copper metallic paper for the cross and brown accents. I embossed the brown band and also the squares under the cross. Of course I had to finish off with some inking to the box cover and stickles for some glitz! Amy really loved it so that might be what we go with. Now back to working on V Day cards. I have a reputation to uphold with the grandkids, lol. That's it for now. Hope everyone has a great day. Mary

Too Many Ideas!

Today I spent the day putting finishing touches on the blog! There is so much to learn and being the perfectionist I am, it's taking longer than I thought. Anyway, I also am working on some Valentines' Day cards and trying to come up with a birth announcement for Cecilia. Instead I got side tracked coming up with an idea for challenge @ cuttlebug blog spot. So many ideas and so little time, Lol.

color challenge

I love a challenge and these colors are perfect for me! Warm colors for cold winters days and a change from the recent holidays!

My first post!

Welcome! I finally decided to jump in with both feet. This will enable me to share with you some of my creations and hope in some way it will inspire you to be creative too. My New Years' resolution is to stretch myself creatively and to be more confident in my inspirations. I hope you enjoy these humble projects.
